Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to answer you, build for you and run our business:

• Enquiries. When you use the contact form: your name, phone number, and optionally your email, site location, budget range, preferred start date and the message you write.
• Your Google account, when you sign in. Your name, email address and profile photo, as described in the next section.
• Project applications. When you apply for a project in your account: your contact details, address, project and building type, preferred start date, the site location you pin on the map, and any drawings or files you upload.
• Identity documents. On your profile you may be asked for your Aadhaar and PAN (and, for sub-contractors, proof of work experience). We store the Aadhaar number masked, so only its last digits are shown.
• Agreements and signatures. When you accept a quotation or sign a contract: the signature you draw, the name you type, the time, and the IP address it was signed from, as a record of the agreement.
• Messages and files. Chat messages you send us and the files you attach.
• Payments. Amounts, dates, references and any payment proof (such as a screenshot or slip) for payments you make or we make to you. Tender fees are paid through Razorpay; we receive the payment’s status and reference, never your card or bank details.
• Location, only when you ask. If you press “I’m here” on a map, your browser shares your location once to centre the map. We do not track your location.
• Usage counts. How many times each page is viewed per day, as totals. These counts are not linked to you. Basic server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested and time) are kept for a short time to keep the site secure and working.

We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell personal information.

You sign in to dreamsbodoland.com with your Google account. We ask Google only for the basic sign-in permissions (openid, email and profile). Google then shares with us:

• your name,
• your email address, and
• your profile photo.

We never receive your Google password, and we do not ask for access to your Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendar or any other Google data.

How we use it. Only to create and identify your account, sign you in, show your name and photo in your account and to our team, and contact you by email about your projects, applications, quotations, bills and account.

Where it is stored. In our own database, on a server we manage, protected by encrypted connections and role-based access.

Sharing. We do not sell, rent or share your Google user data with anyone, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train artificial intelligence models. It is seen only by DREAMS staff who need it for your project, and by the service providers listed below that run the site for us.

Keeping and deleting it. We keep it while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and your Google user data at any time by writing to support@dreamsbodoland.com; we delete it within 30 days, except records Indian law requires us to keep (such as signed contracts and invoices). You can also remove our access at any time from your Google Account, under Security, Third-party apps with account access.

Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

• To reply to your enquiry and discuss, estimate and carry out your project.
• To let our team, clients and partners sign in, and to show each person only what their role allows.
• To prepare quotations, contracts, bills and receipts, and to record payments.
• To send you notifications and emails about your account and projects.
• To keep records required by law, such as contracts, invoices and tax records.
• To protect the site against misuse and fix problems.

Signed-in users can ask Bird, our assistant, questions about their own work. Your question and the records you are allowed to see that it looks up are sent to Sarvam AI to write the answer. Bird can only read what your account can already open. We log that a question was asked, not what it said.

Only with the services that run this site for us, each for its own purpose:

• Our hosting server and database, which we manage ourselves.
• Cloudflare, for our domain name (DNS) and for storing uploaded files privately (R2).
• Google, for sign-in, and Google Maps for the maps and address search.
• Razorpay, for tender fee payments.
• Sarvam AI, for the assistant’s answers.
• Our email delivery provider, to send account and project emails.
• WhatsApp, if you choose to send your enquiry through it.

Within DREAMS, your information is seen only by staff who work on your enquiry or project. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Enquiries are kept for up to three years, or longer if they become a contract. Account details are kept while your account is active. Financial and contract records are kept for as long as Indian law requires. Anything we delete stays recoverable for 30 days and is then erased for good.

Connections to dreamsbodoland.com are encrypted. Access to records is limited by role, so each person sees only their own records or those their work needs. Uploaded files are kept in private storage and opened only through short-lived links after your access is checked. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care and will tell you if a breach affects your data.

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent for its use, by writing to support@dreamsbodoland.com. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

We use only essential cookies: one that keeps you signed in, and small preferences stored in your browser (such as which notifications you have read, and whether you have visited before, for our page-view count). We do not use cookies for advertising.

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be shown on the site.
